I?ve made aload of comments at the bottom and then beyond that are the UK salesfigures for 1998, courtesy of the Motorcycle Industry Association -which include all new greys and parallels. Bearing in mind the licensing laws in Europe (car drivers canride a 125 without taking any further test whatsoever) it?s notsurprising that a 125 tops the Italian charts. What IS surprising isthat it is a four stroke and that it is followed by a whole host ofsuper-scooters, most of which are also four strokes. It?s a sign of thetimes that the top selling two stroke, even in Italy, is only 6th in thecharts, and that is the rip-snorting Gilera 180 which is almostcertainly the fastest accelerating bike in this list, apart from theDucati 600. The first non-automatic is Vespa?s traditional PX150 in 13thplace! kawasaki zx7r uk : Lo,Just had my zx7r thru its 600 service last week, hit 1200 miles now, do afair bit of motorway chugging :( unfortunatelyso have 3 questions..1: Does any1 know when / how i will get my letter about carb iceing and myfree fix.2: What tyres would you reccomend, i want some hard compound in the centerones, cos of the miles i do.3: I currently reside in Sarf Larndarn, and was wondering if there were anygroups looking for new blood.it may have been done already - depends exactly when you got it. givekawasaki a call on 01628 856600 and ask them; if it needs doing they willsend you the notification.i've always ditched the dunlops immediately and put bt56es on, but if you dowant harder tyres most people seem to recommend the bt57s atm.we're indifferent as long as you post at the bottom, trim sigs, and readtffaq. also where you reside is unimportant.I have the Kwaka letter at home, and not at my University addressunfortunately. I was pretty sure it was for the ZX7R P3 model only. Youcan always contact Kawasaki UK directly by phone or any Kawasaki dealer andask them about it.
